Someone’s Been Detained

Find out if the person has a court date

  • Once your loved one’s deportation case begins, their case can be tracked by their “A number” (A# or case number), which is an 8- or 9-digit number that appears on immigration documents. If your loved one did not have an A# before the arrest, they will be assigned one.

  • Note that bond hearings do not show up on this hotline, so if your loved one has a bond hearing scheduled, you will only know if your loved one or their attorney are notified by the immigration court.
