ICE agents usually identify the person they want to arrest ahead of time. They come to look for the people they have already identified at their homes, courthouses, or even their workplaces. Sometimes they will wait on the street to make an arrest.

Sometimes ICE will ask others in the home or any witnesses to arrests for their name and identity documents.
